Background and Rationale

IBPS Clerk 2018: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam to select candidates for recruitment to the post of Clerk in the participating Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and financial institutions. From this year onwards, the IBPS Clerk Exam will be held in two phases viz. Preliminary Exam followed by the Main Examination. Both the exam will be conducted online i.e. Computer-based. Those candidates who will qualify the IBPS Clerk Online Pre-Exam will be eligible to take the Main Examination.

Students are required to qualify both these exams to get selected for the post of clerical cadre in most of the premier Public Sector Banks.
